You’ll sell to developers and engineering leaders at modern, digital-native companies, connecting Vercel’s front-end cloud and developer experience to measurable business outcomes (speed, conversion, productivity, reliability).</p> <p>You’ll run full-cycle deals in close partnership with Solutions Architects, Marketing, and Customer Success, and you’ll help shape how Vercel goes to market as we continue to expand our Commercial segment. We’re building a team with a strong preference to grow talent internally. If you want a path to larger scopes and leadership over time, this is a great place to do it.</p> <p>You’ll be at the leading edge of modern web and AI, working with customers who build and ship fast. You’ll collaborate closely with Solutions Architects, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to help teams adopt Vercel and expand their impact as they scale.</p> <h2>What You Will Do:</h2> <ul> <li>Own a net-new revenue number by building and progressing pipeline from first meeting through close</li> <li>Build pipeline in partnership with your BDR and generate your own outbound pipeline through prospecting, multi-threading, and thoughtful account research</li> <li>Develop and execute territory and account plans to drive consistent new logo acquisition</li> <li>Run end-to-end sales cycles: discovery, qualification, deal strategy, technical evaluation, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and close</li> <li>Lead a weekly forecast and maintain high pipeline hygiene (stages, next steps, close plans, CRM accuracy)</li> <li>Stay on top of leading indicator metrics (e.g., activity, meetings, pipeline creation/conversion) and adjust your operating rhythm to consistently hit targets</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Architects and Customer Success to drive successful evaluations, strong handoffs, and the best outcomes for your customers</li> <li>Stay current on Vercel’s product and competitive landscape; translate technical value into clear business impact</li> <li>Use tools like Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Outreach, SFDC, etc.</li> </ul> <h2>About You:</h2> <ul> <li>Top performer with history of success in pipeline generation, opportunity management, and closing customers</li> <li>Coachable and collaborative</li> <li>Team first attitude and no ego</li> <li>Passionate about your customers and how Vercel solves their problems</li> <li>Motivated, curious, hungry</li> </ul> <h2>Bonus If You:</h2> <ul> <li>Aspire to be a leader</li> <li>Have experience helping companies in hyper-growth stage</li> <li>Have experience in Product Led Growth company</li> <li>Have experience in Front End Software Development</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits:</h2> <ul> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Competitive compensation package, including equity.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Inclusive Healthcare Package.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Flexible Time Off.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.</li> </ul> <p>The San Francisco, CA OTE range for this role is $221,000.00 - $300,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
